Salisbury’s Gwen Eustace and Mary Washington’s Kye Robinson Earn C2C Athlete of the Year Distinction
The 2025-26 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Athletes of the Year have been chosen. The honorees are below:
Female Athlete of the Year: Gwen Eustace, Salisbury
Eustace, a senior middle blocker from Olney, Maryland, registered a notable year and helped lead Salisbury volleyball to a 29-7 record and fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. She posted a .511 hitting percentage which topped all three levels of the NCAA and is the highest-documented single-season effort in Division III since 1994. Eustace notched 436 kills (3.35 K/S) and 129 blocks (0.99 B/S) while earning American Volleyball Coaches Association First Team All-American, AVCA First Team All-Region, Eastern College Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year, and First Team All-C2C honors. Additionally, she received College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Second Team Academic All-America recognition.
Male Athlete of the Year: Kye Robinson, Mary Washington
Robinson, a sophomore guard from Alexandria, Virginia, paced Mary Washington to the first national championship in any sport at the school since 1991, as the men's basketball team finished 30-3 in winning the national title. He led the nation in scoring, breaking the C2C and UMW season records for points (803), while also setting new school marks for points per game (24.3), field goals (265), field goal attempts (527), free throws (238), and free throws attempted (299). Robinson led Division III in free throws and free throw attempts while ranking third in in field goals and fourth in field goals attempted. After a memorable season, he was named a consensus All-America, gaining third team honors from NABC and second team from D3hoops.com, and was a finalist for the Bevo Francis Small College Player of the Year. Robinson was also tabbed consensus first team all-region, NCAA Championship Most Outstanding Player, C2C Player of the Year, and first team all-conference.
