Eight from CAC Honored on ECAC South Baseball All-Star Team

Seven CAC baseball players and one coach were honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) as Division III South Baseball All-Stars on Tuesday, headlined by Frostburg State senior pitcher Clayton Freimuth and head coach Guy Robertson.
Freimuth was named the ECAC South Co-Pitcher of the Year, while Robertson was named the league's Coach of the Year.
Four players landed on the first team, including Freimuth and fellow senior pitcher Bennett Schiltz from Frostburg State along with Salisbury senior DH Danny Breen and senior outfielder Kyle Hayman.
Three Frostburg State players earned second team recognition to round out the ECAC selections from the CAC - senior first baseman Ricky Brady, senior outfielder Nick Walker, and freshman pitcher/outfielder Greg Schneider.
