The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the ninth week of the 2025 baseball season. Salisbury's Noah Burroughs captured C2C Player of the Week honors, while the Sea Gulls Cole Williams claimed C2C Pitcher of the Week merit.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Noah Burroughs, Salisbury

Salisbury freshman Noah Burroughs slashed .471/.500/.882 with a double, two home run, eight runs, seven RBIs, and three stolen bases as the Sea Gulls went 4-0 during the week. On Thursday against Virginia Wesleyan, Burroughs notched his first career multi-homer game, belting two big flies and driving in three runs.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Cole Williams, Salisbury

Salisbury sophomore Cole Williams recorded his fourth win in the year, tossing 6.1 scoreless five-hit innings to beat Messiah on the road on Wednesday. Williams walked two and struck out one on 79 pitches, pitching into the seventh inning for the third time this season.

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Cameron Slough hit a pair of home runs during the week as he hit a game-tying grand slam against No. 2 Lynchburg and a go-ahead three-run blast against Randolph-Macon. He scored three runs and drove in seven in the two losses and now has a team-high 5 HR and 27 RBI this season… In a loss against No. 2 Lynchburg, Christopher Newport's Jackson Chappell tossed 4.1 no-hit innings of relief to keep the Captains in the game against the Hornets. He came on with two outs in the top of the 1st when CNU had fallen behind, 6-0 and struck out six batters with two walks over the next four and a third as the Captains offense came back to tie the game, 6-6.
