SU’s Inman, Brinsfield Receive C2C Weekly Baseball Awards
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 11th week of the 2026 baseball season. Salisbury's Jackson Inman was named C2C Player of the Week, while the Sea Gulls Aidan Brinsfield repeated as C2C Pitcher of the Week.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jackson Inman, Salisbury
Salisbury sophomore Jackson Inman slashed .615/.722/1.231 with two doubles, two homers, three steals, nine runs scored, and 11 RBIs as part of the Sea Gulls' 4-0 week. On Tuesday against York (Pa.) he doubled twice and drove in four runs, then on Wednesday against St. Mary's (Md.) he went yard and plated five runs, following it up with another dinger in Thursday's road win at Penn State Harrisburg. Inman's OPS for the week was a staggering 1.953.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Aidan Brinsfield, Salisbury
Salisbury junior Aidan Brinsfield was a dominant force in Saturday's 2-1 win at Christopher Newport, going seven innings of one-run, six-hit ball to pick up his seventh win of the year. Brinsfield walked two and punched out eight on 114 pitches to lead the Sea Gulls to their seventh straight victory.
HONORABLE MENTION
PLAYER: Ryan Henson, Mary Washington
PITCHER: Gavin Riley, Mary Washington
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Mary Washington's Ryan Henson had a career week as the sophomore hit four home runs in three victories. Against No. 10 Bridgewater on Wednesday, Henson smoked two home runs in a 15-9 victory, while collecting three hits, five RBIs, and a walk. And against Lycoming on Sunday, Henson hit a home run in each of the two victories to come away with four on the week. For the week, Henson hit .385 (5-for-13) with 11 RBIs, walking once, while scoring seven runs… Mary Washington's Gavin Riley completed his second game of the season after going the distance on Sunday against Lycoming. The lefty struck out five en route to his second victory of the season. He surrendered four runs -- albeit it was a grand slam in the fifth -- but outside of that, Riley was nearly untouchable. He worked around six hits and three walks in the 8-4 victory.
