Salisbury Field Hockey Head Coach Dawn Chamberlin Named NFHCA South Region Coach of the Year
Salisbury field hockey head coach Dawn Chamberlin has been named the 2013 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) South Region Coach of the Year, announced Wednesday.
Chamberlin guided the Sea Gulls to their first NCAA Championship game appearance since 2009 and sixth in program history this past fall. Salisbury, the CAC tournament champion, finished the season as the national runner-up after a 1-0 defeat to Bowdoin in the title match.
The Sea Gulls concluded the year with a record of 17-4.
