Sixty-Six from CAC Earn NFHCA Academic Squad Recognition
Sixty-six CAC student-athletes have been selected to the 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic Squad, while 11 were named Scholars of Distinction.
The National Academic Squad recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2015-16 academic year. For the complete list of award winners, click here.
Scholars of Distinction are student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2015-16 academic year. For the complete list of award recipients, click here.
Salisbury and York led the way with 14 student-athletes honored, followed by St. Mary's (10), Wesley (9), Frostburg State (9), Mary Washington (6) and Christopher Newport (4). The CAC also had seven student-athletes who were recognized all four years in which they were eligible.
