The 2021 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Field Hockey awards have been announced. The following are this year's honorees, as determined by the league's head coaches:

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Dom Farrace - Salisbury

Dom Farrace becomes the fifth straight and 19th Salisbury player overall to win the conference’s top honor as C2C Player of the Year. The 2019 NFHCA Second-Team All-American leads the C2C in saves (54), save percentage (.794), goals against (14) and goals-against average (0.98). In the nation, Farrace ranks 25th and 26th in goals against and save percentage.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Abby Asuncion - Christopher Newport

Abby Asuncion finished the regular season tied for the league-lead with 13 goals, including two hat-tricks and four multi-goal efforts. Anchoring an offensive unit that stands 13th in the nation in scoring average, the junior midfielder also sits second in the conference with 29 total points and has been equally effective on the other end of the field while serving as a focal point on Christopher Newport's penalty corner defense.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Brook Billhimer - Christopher Newport

Brooke Billhimer has helped anchor Christopher Newport's defensive unit, which wrapped up the regular season ranked among the national leaders with seven shutouts, including two in Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference action. On an individual level, the freshman has a pair of defensive saves and two assists while ranking among the team-leaders with 888 minutes of work.

SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR: McKenzie Jamison - Salisbury

McKenzie Jamison is a junior biology major from Davidsonville, Md. that carries a 3.88 grade-point average. Off the field, Jamison is a two-time academic all-conference honoree and a two-time member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad. 2021 All-C2C selection, Jamison collected two weekly C2C honors during the regular season and is tied for sixth in the league with six goals.

COACHING STAFF OF THE YEAR: Carrie Moura - Christopher Newport

Carrie Moura and her coaching staff guided Christopher Newport to its third regular season conference championship in 2021 while compiling an 11-4 overall record. Excelling on both ends of the field, her squad ranks 13th in the NCAA with a 3.87 goals-per-game average, while the Captains have seven shutouts and surrendered one goal or less in 12 games, including eight straight contests entering the postseason.
