York Finishes 10th At Hershey Cup Men's Golf Championship; Christopher Newport And William Paterson Rained Out Of Action Monday

The York College golf squad finished day two of the prestigious Hershey Cup tenth out of 15 teams on a very rainy and raw Monday in Hershey, PA.

Christopher Newport and William Paterson were both rained out of action Monday.  CNU was scheduled to play the first of two rounds at the Emory Invitational, and the Captains will play in the tournament Tuesday.  William Paterson was sidelined when the Lebanon Valley Tournament was washed out.

At Hershey, the Spartans were one of just four teams to improve on their day one score as York shot a team score of 324, two strokes better than Sunday's performance. The Green and White moved up two spots as they passed Gettysburg and Susquehanna to finish tenth.

Junior David Boslough led the Spartans as he fired a seven-over-par 78, matching his day one total. Boslough finished tied for 16th in the 81-player field. Sophomore Ryan Wolbach improved on his day one score as he shot an 81. Wolbach finished tied for 46th with his 164.
