Salisbury's Sam Bradman Gains Player Of The Week Awards From ECAC And InsideLacrosse.com
Salisbury University sophomore midfielder Sam Bradman (Canton, N.Y.), this week's CAC Player of the Week, also picked up weekly awards from the ECAC and InsideLacrosse.com for his contributions in the Sea Gulls' victory over top-ranked Gettysburg.
Bradman currently leads the Gulls with 33 goals, 15 assists and 48 points. To date, he has scored at least two goals in every game. Additionally, he has contributed to 48 of Salisbury's 152 goals this season.
Just yesterday, Bradman was named CAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the second time this season. He first received the title during the week of March 15. In the same week, Bradman was also named the ECAC South Region Player of the Week.
Salisbury is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation, with a 10-0 record. The Sea Gulls will travel to the University of Mary Washington tomorrow for a Capital Athletic Conference match beginning at 4 p.m. On Saturday, Salisbury will face conference rival and No. 1-ranked Stevenson University at 2 p.m. in a televised match on Salisbury Comcast Channel 208.
