Six CAC Players Selected For 2011 USILA North-South Senior All-Star Men's Lacrosse Game
Six Capital Athletic Conference players, including three from regular-season champion Stevenson, two from Mary Washington and one from St. Mary's, were selected to compete on the South squad for the 2011 USILA Senior Men's Lacrosse All-Star Game.
The 2011 LaxWorld/USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game which will take place on Friday, May 27 at Goucher College's Beldon Field. The Division III game will start at 3:00 p.m., while the Division I-II contest will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the field for just $5.00 the day of the game.
Stevenson attackman Jimmy Dailey, the CAC Player of the Year and the USILA National Player of the Year, along with national Defender of the Year Evan Douglass, lead the CAC contingent in the 2011 all-star event. Also scheduled to represent Stevenson in the contest is midfielder Kyle Moffitt. All three were named to the 2011 USILA All-America team earlier this week.
Mary Washington, which finished third in the regular season, will be represented by midfielder Kohl Meyer and goalkeeper Ryan Kleman.
St. Mary's attack Dennis Rosson, who also named to the 2011 USILA All-America team as an honorable mention selection, also earned a berth on the national all-star contest South roster.
