Regular-Season Champ Salisbury And Playoff Champ St. Mary's Each Gain NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament Bids
St. Mary's emerged from the third seed in the 2013 CAC Tournament to win the conference championship, an automatic bid and a road game in the 2013 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament. Salisbury won the regular-season championship and gained an at-large bid to the national championships, where the Sea Gulls will host a first-round game Wednesday.
St. Mary's (12-6) will play a third-straight playoff road game Wednesday when the Seahawks visit Lynchburg for a first-round game. If SMC wins, the winner of the Roanoke vs. Centre first-round contest will be the Seahawks' second-round foe.
Salisbury (14-5) will host Susquehanna of the Landmark League in an opening-round game Wednesday. If the Sea Gulls win, they'll play the winner of the first-round matchup between Washington & Lee and Sewanee.
The 29-team tournament will crown a champion on Sunday, May 26, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
