Wisconsin-Platteville to Join C2C as Men's Soccer Associate Member

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) is proud to announce the University of Wisconsin-Platteville will join the league as an associate member in men's soccer beginning with the fall 2022 season.

UW-Platteville will join UC Santa Cruz, Christopher Newport, Finlandia, Mary Washington, Pratt, Salisbury and associate member UW-Whitewater as participating members in men's soccer. The Pioneers will be eligible for All-C2C awards and the conference's men's soccer championship.

"I am extremely excited for our men's soccer program to join a conference that still allows enhanced opportunities for postseason competition," said Director of Athletics and Recreation and Assistant Chancellor for Sports Administration Dr. Kristina Navarro. "This is in direct alignment with our goal to provide students with a competitive and transformational experience. Coach Koenig has been looking for a correct fit for two years and we are excited to join the C2C."

"We are extremely excited as a program to put our student-athletes in a league to play against some of the best teams in the country," said Director of Soccer Sam Koenig. "This offers our program the ability for awards for student-athletes and conference tournament to access the national tournament. Our Pioneer soccer community is ecstatic for the opportunity to compete in the Coast-To-Coast! We look forward to next season!"
