The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the ninth week of the 2025 men's soccer season. Mary Washington's Sammy Amorose was named C2C Offensive Player of the Week, while Christopher Newport's Declan Karney captured C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sammy Amorose, Mary Washington

Mary Washington senior Sammy Amorose netted a pair of goals on 12 total shots with six of them being on goal in a pair of games last week. Against Marymount, Amorose netted the game-winner in the 63rd minute as he took six shots. Against Salisbury on Saturday, the Eagles trailed by a goal before Amorose dribbled around a few defenders before putting the game-tying goal into the upper-left corner of the net to draw even with Salisbury in the 80th minute.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Declan Karney, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport sophomore Declan Karney helped the Captains log a shutout in its only action of the week a 2-0 win at North Carolina Wesleyan. In addition, he assisted on the game-winning goal scored by Joe Summerfield.

OFFENSIVE: Joe Summerfield, Christopher Newport; Yann-Olivier Kamga, Regent

DEFENSIVE: Tristan Kickbush, Mary Washington

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Joe Summerfield connected on the game-winning goal to help lift the nationally ranked Captains over North Carolina Wesleyan in their only game of the week. He finished off a feed from Declan Karney and scored his third goal of the season. All three have been game-winning goals for CNU. Summerfield finished with three shots and two on-goal… Regent's Yann-Olivier Kamga tallied two goals and one assist in three games this week.  His assist came in a close loss at St. Mary's (Md.) and his two goals against Mid-Atlantic Christian helping the Royals to a shutout win on Senior Day. In addition, his two scores set the program's single season goal record with nine goals… In a pair of games this past week, Mary Washington's Tristan Kickbush came away with 18 total saves, a win, and a draw. Against Marymount, Kickbush took home the victory after saving nine shots in a 2-1 victory on Wednesday. And on Saturday, Kickbush again delivered in goal with nine saves in a 1-1 draw with Salisbury.
