      <description>Salisbury junior MIKE FERRARI (Columbia, Md./Atholton) was selected the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after recording a pair of first-place finishes in Saturday's meet vs. Catholic.  Ferrari touched the wall first in the 200 IM (2:22.50), then doubled by winning the 100 backstroke (1:11.38).</description>

      <description>Mary Washington sophomore STEPHEN CLENDENIN (Ashburn, Va./Home schooled) was selected the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after taking top honors in three individual events in Saturday's 11-point victory over non-conference rival Gettysburg.  Clendenin, the 2008 CAC Rookie of the Year, swept the 1,000 freestyle (10:18.67), 200 IM (2:01.67) and 200 butterfly (1:58.32) as UMW improved to 6-1 in dual meets this season.</description>

      <description>Mary Washington junior JUSTIN ANDERSON (Oak Hill, Va./Oakton) was selected the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning five gold medals in two days as the Eagles improved to 5-0 against CAC competition.  Anderson took top honors in the 400 IM (4:29.64) and was on a pair of victorious relay teams in UMW's win Friday at Marymount.  Saturday, at home against St. Mary's, Anderson captured gold in the 100 freestyle (49.66) and was a member of the 400 freestyle relay team (3:21.34).</description>

Murtha took top honors in the 50 freestyle (21.57) and the 100 butterfly (52.09) while adding a fifth-place finish in the 100 freestyle (48.44).</description>

      <title>Mary Washington Soph. Stephen Clendenin Named CAC Men's Swimmer Of The Week</title>

      <description>Mary Washington sophomore STEPHEN CLENDENIN (Ashburn, Va./Home Schooled) was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after registering three NCAA "B" cuts along with three school and conference records at the University of Maryland Terrapin Invitational, competing against primarily NCAA Division I competition.  In the qualifying races, Clendenin, the 2008 CAC Rookie of the Year, broke school and CAC records, and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships, in the 200 IM (1:54.48) and the 400 IM (4:05.93), and followed with a national qualifying standard in the 200 butterfly (1:53.48).  He also anchored the Eagles to a UMW and CAC record-breaking performance in the 800 freestyle relay (6:59.93).</description>

Morch captured top honors in the 200 individual medley (2:13.49) and the 200 breaststroke (2:29.72) and swam the anchor leg of the 200 medley relay (1:48.20) that posted a four-second victory.</description>

Henderson won the 100 freestyle (49.50) and 100 fly (53.07) vs. W&amp;L, the captured top honors in the 100 back (54.70) and swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:41.92) in Saturday's two wins.</description>
