York's Keven Stahl Earns All-America Honors at NCAA Swimming Championships

York freshman Keven Stahl captured All-America honors in the 1650 freestyle to highlight the performances of three CAC swimmers at the 2018 NCAA Swimming Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. 

On the fourth and final day of the championships on Saturday, Stahl placed 14th with a time of 15:53.34, earning him All-America honors with his top-16 finish. Stahl becomes the second York men's swimmer to earn All-American honors, joining former national champion Kyle Walthall in that elite club. 

Stahl also competed in the 500 freestyle and 400 IM at nationals. He placed 29th in the 500 free (4:38.80) and 20th in the 400 IM (4:01.05). 

Mary Washington junior Jeff Leckrone and Frostburg State senior Christian March also represented the CAC at the NCAA Championships. Leckrone placed 18th in the 200 breaststroke (2:03.79), 28th in the 100 breaststroke (57.35) and 46th in the 200 IM (1:56.37). March finished 21st in the 100 breaststroke (56.34), 23rd in the 200 breaststroke (2:04.63) and 50th in the 50 freestyle (21.49).
