Wesley's Matt Bundy To Compete At The 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships
After shattering his own-school record in the 60m hurdles at the ECAC Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in New York City last weekend, Matt Bundy has qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships to be held March 9-10 at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.
A sophomore from Media, Pa., Bundy is the only male from the Capital Athletic Conference to qualify for NCAAs and is just the third Wolverine in school-history (Larry Beavers & Chris Donisi).
Bundy ran an 8.25 in the preliminaries of the 60m hurdles at the ECAC Championships and captured the bronze in the finals. The prelims of the 60m hurdles at the NCAA Championships are scheduled for 5:35 pm on Friday, March 9 with the top eight advancing to the finals on Saturday.
