Nine CAC Softball Players Receive NFCA All-Region Accolades
Nine softball players from the Capital Athletic Conference have been honored as All-Atlantic Region selections by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), including five on the first team.
Salisbury led the way with six all-region honorees, headlined by seniors Molly Simpson, Kim Dorsey, and Paige Knussman on the first team. Annah Brittingham received second team honors while Caitlin Lake landed on the third team.
Christopher Newport senior Scoop Simon represented the Captains as a first team selection.
Frostburg State had two players earn all-region honors - junior Hannah Tavik (first team) and senior Taylor Blevins (third team).
