The 2022 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Softball All-Conference honors were unveiled. Below are the recipients: 

Player of the Year: Abby Mace - Salisbury

Junior outfielder Abby Mace collected her second-straight C2C Player of the Year award. Mace leads the C2C in on-base percentage (.581), runs scored (53) and slugging percentage (1.073). She also sits second in the conference in home runs (14), RBIs (41) batting average (.477), triples (6) and hits (52). In Division III, Mace leads the country in total bases (117) and is in the top-10 in home runs, home runs per game, runs per game, slugging percentage and triples.

Pitcher of the Year: Lindsey Windsor - Salisbury

Junior pitcher Lindsey Windsor earned her second consecutive C2C Pitcher of the Year award after she led the conference in saves with four and a tie for the league lead for wins with 14 with teammate, Savannah Sheats. Windsor had a 0.83 ERA, which was second in the C2C, and sat sixth with 84 strikeouts. At the plate, Windsor hit .456 with 41 hits, seven home runs, 31 runs scored, 25 RBIs and a team-high 17 stolen bases.

Rookie of the Year: Jamie Martin - Christopher Newport

Left-hander Jamie Martin concluded the 2022 regular season with a 13-1 record and a 1.11 earned run average. She started 14 games, and posted five complete games, striking out 97 batters in 88 innings of work. Martin threw her first career no-hitter at Mary Washington, the only no-no of the season for the Captains, and the 29th no-hitter or perfect game in program history.

Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Natalie Paoli - Salisbury

Natalie Paoli is a Public Relations and Strategic Communications major at SU with a 3.88 GPA. Paoli is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. A two-time All-C2C honoree with first-team honors in 2022, Paoli hit .368 with five home runs, 36 RBIs, 27 runs scored, eight doubles and two triples. She slugged .605 and reached base at a .438 rate

Coaching Staff of the Year: Christopher Newport - Head Coach: Keith Parr

Captains Head Coach Keith Parr went over the 600-win mark for his career earlier this season and continued his amazing run leading the Captains in 2022. CNU has been the top-ranked team in the nation for the last seven weeks, and the Captains head into the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference tournament as the top seed with a 35-1 record. Parr is in his 19th season leading the Captains and has guided his squads to the last 14 NCAA Tournaments.
