2025 All-C2C Softball Teams and Awards Unveiled
The 2025 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Softball All-Conference honors were announced. Below are the recipients:
Player of the Year: Brooke Greaver - Christopher Newport
For the second time in her notable career, Greaver headlined the C2C individual awards. The third baseman leads the league in RBI (56) and home runs (12) while hitting .385.
Pitcher of the Year: Jamie Martin - Christopher Newport
Martin received top pitcher honors for the second straight year. She paces the league in strikeouts (142) and ranks in the top three in ERA (1.22), wins (15), and saves (2).
Rookie of the Year: Cora Thomas - Christopher Newport
Thomas made an impact in her first year including a league-best 25 stolen bases. She posted a .400 batting average in 30 at-bats while starting 13 games with 29 games played.
Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Jamie Martin - Christopher Newport
Martin, a neuroscience major with minors in leadership studies and chemistry, earned outstanding student and athlete recognition. The Pitcher of the Year made 19 appearances in the circle with 17 games starts. In 103 innings, she has eight complete games and three shutouts.
Coaching Staff of the Year: Keith Parr - Christopher Newport
Parr earned coaching recognition for the fourth time after guiding the Captains to a 34-4 regular season. He has led CNU since 2003 with one national title and a 732-212-1 record.
