The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the ninth week of the 2026 softball season.  Salisbury's Audrey March was tabbed C2C Player of the Week, while Christopher Newport's Caroline Alger repeated as C2C Pitcher of the Week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Audrey March, Salisbury

Salisbury freshman Audrey March, a Bel Air, Md. native, blasted four home runs and tallied 11 RBIs during a four game stretch in which the Sea Gulls went 4-0. Salisbury picked up a sweep over Stevenson and C2C foe Mary Washington. March batted .700 with seven hits in 10 at bats, and tallied a 2.000 slugging percentage.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Caroline Alger, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport sophomore Caroline Alger pitched in three of four CNU games this week, and earned two victories and a save as CNU went 4-0 for the week. Alger allowed just two runs in 12.2 innings pitched, giving up seven hits and striking out nine while walking three. She won the opening game of a doubleheader on Wednesday at North Carolina Wesleyan, and then posted a save in the nightcap. Alger improved her record to 4-0 on Sunday with a complete-game shutout over Roanoke at Captains Park.

PLAYER: Candace Slaw, Christopher Newport

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Candace Slaw led the Captains to a 4-0 week by scoring six times and posting seven hits in 13 at bats, as CNU swept doubleheaders over North Carolina Wesleyan in Rocky Mount and Roanoke at Captains Park. Slaw recorded two doubles and a triple and stole three bases as the Captains improved to 24-10 on the year.
