Conference Statement
Due to the inadvertent use of an ineligible player, Frostburg State
University will forfeit its Dec. 8, 2010 CAC women's basketball
game against Hood College.
FSU has self-reported the secondary violation to the CAC and the
NCAA, which will review the circumstances of the situation.
Entering tonight's (2/16) contests, Frostburg State's CAC record
is 8-6 and tied with Wesley for fourth place. Hood's CAC
record improves to 3-12.
The score of the game will be listed on the CAC composite schedule
as a 2-0 victory for Hood, with a notation that the final score of
the game played Dec. 8 was 65-56.
