Diggs, the CAC Rookie of the Year, helped lead an impressive turnaround for the Frostburg State women's basketball team, who finished the year with a 12-14 overall record behind a 10-8 mark in conference play.  The Bobcats earned a berth in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament for the first time since the 2012-13 school year.

Diggs appeared in 26 games, starting 21, and ended the season third on the team in scoring average. A sophomore academically, she finished her first year of collegiate basketball averaging 11.3 points per game, shooting 37.5% from the field. Her 35.3% three-point field goal percentage was the highest on the team and ranked fifth in the CAC.

Marymount junior point guard Leah Hurst was named to the ECAC South honorable mention team after earning first-team All-CAC honors last week. Entering this weekend's NCAA Sweet 16, Hurst has started in all 29 games for the Saints, averaging 8.8 points, 5.3 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.6 steals. She currently leads the CAC in assists, and ranks in the top five in steals.

Helping Marymount to its second-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, Hurst has been a big factor in the Saints making it to the Sweet 16 this weekend, dishing out a total of 16 assists in the opening two rounds of the big dance in victories over host Guilford and Albright.

Salisbury senior guard Lauren Rothfeld joined Hurst on the honorable mention squad. She was a first-team All-CAC selection and was also recently chosen to compete for Team USA in the World Maccabiah Games. Rothfeld led the CAC in scoring (16.3 ppg) and steals (3.8) this season.

Rothfeld concluded her time in the maroon and gold with a stellar senior season where she had career highs in points per game, steals per game, rebounds per game (7.8), assists per game (2.5), and field goal percentage (42.4).
