Mount Mary’s India Lucas Receives C2C Women's Basketball Weekly Honors
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the fifth week of the 2024-25 women's basketball season. Mount Mary senior India Lucas was tabbed C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: India Lucas, Mount Mary
Mount Mary senior India Lucas nearly missed a triple double in a great performance against Grace Christian. In the victory, Lucas scored 22 points, had 9 assists, 8 rebounds and two steals while shooting 8-11 from the floor.
HONORABLE MENTION
Abby Plaugher, Salisbury
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Salisbury's Abby Plaugher averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over 19.5 minutes in the Sea Gulls' two wins for the week. On Wednesday at Stevenson, she posted her first career double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Plaugher shot 81.8 percent from the charity stripe for the week, making 9-of-11 free throws.
