2025 C2C Women's Basketball All-Conference Awards Announced
The 2025 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Basketball awards have been released. The following are this year's honorees, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Christopher Newport's Hannah Orloff headlined the awards earning both Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year distinction. The senior leads the league in field goal percentage (59.4) and blocks per game (2.3). Orloff averaged 8.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 16.1 minutes per contest for the Captains who are 24-1 this season.
UC Santa Cruz's Emilie Ngo was tabbed Rookie of the Year with 11.1 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game. She currently ranks second in the C2C in field goal percentage (48.4).
CNU's Gabbi San Diego, a business management and marketing major, earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors. The senior leads the league and ranks fifth nationally in turnover/assist ratio (2.85).
The Captains Bill Broderick claimed Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the fifth time and recorded his 300th career win this season. He reached the 300-win plateau in just 346 career games and is now 306-45 (.872) in 12 seasons.
