Salisbury’s Abby Plaugher Named C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the eighth week of the 2025-26 women's basketball season. Salisbury junior Abby Plaugher claimed C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Abby Plaugher, Salisbury
Salisbury junior Abby Plaugher provided muscle on both ends of the court, averaging 11 points and eight rebounds as the Sea Gulls won a pair of games in Puerto Rico. On Dec. 28 against Western Connecticut State, she matched a team high with 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting and hauled in five boards, helping SU win 70-58. Then on Dec. 29 against King's (Pa.), Plaugher netted eight points with 11 rebounds, sinking four free throws in the final 21 seconds to help Salisbury put a 56-53 on ice.
