The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of the 2025-26 women's basketball season. UC Santa Cruz sophomore Danielle Tyner was named C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Danielle Tyner, UC Santa Cruz

UC Santa Cruz sophomore Danielle Tyner led UCSC to an 84-62 victory over Cal Maritime, logging a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds while shooting 81.8% from the field. Tyner's double-double is her fourth out of the last five games and includes a season high in both points and rebounds. Additionally, Tyner dished out five assists and a block in the all-around effort.

Madison McKenzie, Christopher Newport; Rileigh Weaver, Mary Washington

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Madison McKenzie averaged 16.0 points per game this week as she helped lift Christopher Newport to a road win at Pfeiffer and a home victory against Lehman. She shot 54.5 percent from the field (12-22) and led the team in scoring in both games. The 5-7 guard also hauled in a team-high six rebounds against Lehman and finished the week averaging 4.0 rebounds per game. For the week, she averaged 16 points, four rebounds, one assist, one block, and two steals per game… Mary Washington's Rileigh Weaver starred against Swarthmore on Monday last week after scoring 17 points and collecting 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. The Eagles' center went 6-of-11 from the floor, collecting six offensive and defensive boards, while adding three assists. On Saturday against Regent, Weaver knocked down two of her three shots -- and three free throws -- to give her seven points in UMW's victory. In all, Weaver went 8-of-14 from the floor, averaging 12 points-per-game in UMW's two wins.
