Mary Washington’s Mackenzie Wharton Named C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 12th week of the 2025-26 women's basketball season. Mary Washington sophomore Mackenzie Wharton was tabbed C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mackenzie Wharton, Mary Washington
Mary Washington sophomore Mackenzie Wharton netted a career-high 19 points in the Eagles' win over Regent. Wharton was 5-for-10 from deep to go along with her 7-of-13 day from the floor. Too, Wharton added five rebounds, an assist, and a steal in UMW's big victory in its lone game last week.

Abby Plaugher, Salisbury
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Salisbury's Abby Plaugher, a Lansdale, Pa. native, tallied 23 points on 50 percent shooting in the Sea Gulls overtime loss at St. Mary's this week in their lone game. She also added five assists and four rebounds.
