WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: McKenna Snively, Christopher Newport
Christopher Newport senior McKenna Snively had a career-defining performance at Salisbury on Wednesday night, becoming the first player in head coach Bill Broderick's tenure to register multiple 30-point performances in her career. She scored 30 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor including an 8-of-9 effort from three-point land. She added six points in nine minutes against Regent with two more three-pointers as she closed the week shooting 83.3 percent (10-12) from beyond the arc. In just 30 minutes of action, she scored 36 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, added 2 assists, 3 steals, and one blocked shot.
