Salisbury and York Selected to Host Selected to Host NCAA Women's Lacrosse Second Round Games on Sunday, May 10

NCAA Women's Lacrosse Bracket 

For the 10th straight year, multiple CAC women's lacrosse teams will represent the conference in the NCAA Tournament as CAC Champion Salisbury and runner-up York will compete in the field of 38 teams announced Sunday night. 

Two-time defending national champion and eighth-ranked Salisbury will begin its quest for a third straight national title by hosting 12th-ranked Hamilton in a second round game on Sunday at Sea Gull Stadium at 1 p.m.. The Sea Gulls, who defeated York 6-3 on Saturday for their 13th-straight conference title, are making their 15th NCAA appearance in the last 16 seasons. 

Hamilton (11-5) was awarded an at-large bid into the national tournament after falling in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Tournament to Tufts, 7-6. This is Hamilton's eighth appearance in the NCAA tournament, the first since 2011, earning a national title in 2008. 

York, ranked 13th in the nation, received an at-large bid to the NCAA postseason for the fourth straight year, and will host Union (N.Y.) on Sunday at Kinsley Field at 1 p.m. This marks the third straight season that the Spartans will host an NCAA game, claiming victories in their opening game each of the past two years. 

Union (13-3) won the Liberty League title, defeating Skidmore 14-6 in the conference championship game. Union enters the NCAA tournament on a seven-game winning streak.
