Six from CAC Named IWLCA All-Americans; York's Clauter, Mary Washington's Littlefield Earn First Team Honors
Six CAC women's lacrosse players have been named All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). Mary Washington and Salisbury each placed two players on the team, while York and Christopher Newport had one player receive the accolade.
Mary Washington junior Kirsten Littlefield was a repeat All-America pick, this time as a first-team selection. Littlefield, a defender, was a second team honoree last spring. Also representing the Eagles on the All-America squad was sophomore goalkeeper Hanna Ashby, who collected third team honors.
York sophomore Nicole Clauter represented the Spartans on the IWLCA All-America First Team. Clauter, a defender, was named CAC Player of the Year.
Christopher Newport senior attacker Meaghan Galvin was a second-team selection for the second straight year.
The Salisbury duo of senior defenders Allison Hynson and Kieran Kelleher landed on the third team for the Sea Gulls.
