Below is a brief preview of each team entering the 2025 season:

Salisbury returns 26 players from the 2024 squad that became the 10th in program history to appear in the NCAA Division III National Championship game. Highlighting the stellar veteran group is senior defender Natalie Held, the reigning IWLCA DIII Defender of the Year (55 GB, 40 CT, 83 DC), along with junior attacker and '24 All-C2C honoree Miranda Mears (42 G, 2 GW, 5-7 FP), senior attacker Alexandra Parker (17 G, 10 A), and junior midfielder Julianna Ott (15 G, 3 A, 40 DC), who secured 17 draw controls across the final three games of the tournament. The '25 team features a group of 14 newcomers, comprised of three transfers and 11 freshmen, led by 2024 IWLCA Hall of Fame inductee Jim Nestor in his 24th season with Salisbury. 2024 IWLCA All-American Mary Hanzsche also joined the reigning IWLCA Chesapeake Region Coaching Staff of the Year as a graduate assistant for the '25 campaign.

After advancing to the third round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history last year, Christopher Newport enters 2025 with high expectations while welcoming back an impressive contingent of veteran standouts. Under the guidance of head coach Lisa Valentine, the Captains feature a pair of returning All-Region contributors, including Brookelyn Morrison, who was celebrated as a USA Lacrosse All-American after setting a school record with 54 takeaways last season. Senior Madi Rozgonyi also collected All-Region nods in 2024 and will help anchor a defensive unit alongside fellow fourth-year standout Maddie Rusinko and reigning Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year Carys May.

Mary Washington will look to rebound in 2025, led by a group of seasoned veterans. Senior Molly Daw returns after scoring 31 goals and adding 14 assists in 2024, as does senior Tori Mueller (16 goals, 12 assists). Sophomore Abigail Fisher emerged as a scoring threat as a freshman in '24 (15 goals, 8 assists), and will look to build on her strong first year. Defensively, the Eagles will look to returning starters Daelyn Gregory, Rachel Oestrike, Madeline Stauder and Micaela Burneo, as the Eagles will look to replace All-America goalie Cailyn Tripp.

Warren Wilson has a new leader as Anne Ferry rejoins the squad as head coach after serving as an assistant.  Juniors Sydney Weber (52 goals, 6 assists) and Callie Aerni (16 goals, 8 assists) lead the returners.
