The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the second week of the 2025 women's lacrosse season. Mary Washington's Tori Mueller was tabbed C2C Offensive Player of the Week, while Christopher Newport's Kate Lamendola claimed C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tori Mueller, Mary Washington

Senior Tori Mueller started the season with a bang for Mary Washington, scoring two goals and adding five assists in the Eagles' 20-3 win over Division II Virginia State on Friday in the 2025 opener. She also collected four ground balls, four caused turnovers, and two draw controls.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kate Lamendola, Christopher Newport

Sophomore Kate Lamendola made history while leading Christopher Newport to a 13-4 win at Lynchburg on Saturday. Against the Hornets, she established new career-highs with five goals and six caused turnovers. With that performance, the sophomore became the first player in program history to notch at least five strikes and five takeaways in the same game. On the offensive end, she scored three of the team's first four goals on the way to a healthy 8-2 halftime lead. Following the break, she came back with two more tallies in the fourth quarter to polish off the victory. During the contest, she converted all three of her free-position attempts, which equaled the fourth-most by a Captain in program history. Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the field, she produced six caused turnovers, including three that disrupted clear attempts by Lynchburg. Her six takeaways matched the seventh-highest total in program history and equaled the most in a road game since 2006.

Through two games in 2025, Fleishell has tallied seven draw controls, five ground balls and five caused turnovers.
