UMW’s Daw, CNU’s Chadwick Capture C2C Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Honors
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the fifth week of the 2025 women's lacrosse season. Mary Washington's Molly Daw captured C2C Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Christopher Newport's Hadley Chadwick picked up C2C Defensive Player of the Week acclaim.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Molly Daw, Mary Washington
Mary Washington senior attacker Molly Daw scored seven goals and added one assist as the Eagles defeated Rhodes and #12 Roanoke this week. Daw opened the week with three goals and one assist in a 14-9 win at Rhodes. Then on Thursday against the #12 Maroons, she netted a team-high four goals. With the wins, the Eagles surpass last year's win total.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hadley Chadwick, Christopher Newport
Christopher Newport junior Hadley Chadwick compiled a 5.50 goals-against-average while making 16 saves during a pair of victories for the Captains last week. On Saturday at Ursinus, she matched her season-high with nine saves while also adding a takeaway and two ground balls during a 14-6 triumph. That came on the heels of a seven-save outing during a 10-5 win over RPI on Tuesday. Overall, she finished the week with a .593 save percentage, four ground balls, two caused turnovers, and a pair of saves on free-position attempts.

OFFENSE: Maelyn Eversole, Christopher Newport; Audrey Harrington, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Maelyn Eversole led Christopher Newport with nine points during the week, including seven assists. On Saturday in a 14-6 win at Ursinus, the senior matched her career-high with five points, while her four helpers established a new personal-best. Earlier in the week, while facing an RPI squad that entered Tuesday's tilt boasting the nation's second-ranked scoring defense, she notched four points during a 10-5 victory over the Engineers. With her two performances during the week, Eversole became just the second Captain since 2022 to record at least three assists in back-to-back games, joining former All-American Kelsey Winters… Salisbury's Audrey Harrington continued her strong stretch for the fourth-ranked Sea Gulls in a fierce overtime battle against No. 6 Gettysburg, firing four goals and adding an assist to help the Sea Gulls give the Bullets a scare and force added time. Harrington has piled up 13 points in her last two games after her eight-point outburst last week… Salisbury's Paige Ellis was excellent in cage for the fourth-ranked Sea Gulls in Saturday's overtime duel at No. 6 Gettysburg, denying a career-high 14 Bullet tries for her best career effort between the pipes.
