Salisbury And Frostburg State Each Advance On Shutout Victories In CAC Women's Soccer Tournament
Salisbury and Frostburg State each registered home field shutout victories in Thursday's CAC Women's Soccer semifinals and will meet for the conference title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament at the Sea Gulls' home field Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.
Top-seeded and defending CAC Champion Salisbury held off fifth-seeded Mary Washington Thursday by a 1-0 margin to earn the right to host Saturday's championship contest.
Frostburg State, meanwhile, scored all of its goals in the first half to run away early from third-seeded York for a 3-0 triumph.
