Christopher Newport defeated Marymount 6-0 on Wednesday's final day of the CAC regular season to earn the regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the CAC Tournament for the third straight season. Victoria Perry and Kimmie Kerstiens each tallied two goals to lead the way for the Captains. 

Salisbury shutout Wesley 2-0 in Wednesday's other contest, as the conference regular season has now come to a close. The Sea Gulls received second-half goals from Heather Deamond and Lindsey Andonian to earn the victory. 

The CAC Tournament seedings are now set, with No. 1 CNU (8-1 CAC) and No. 2 St. Mary's (8-1 CAC) earning first round byes. The Captains and Seahawks will host semifinal matchups next Tuesday, Nov. 3.

No. 3 Frostburg State will host No. 6 York in next Tuesday's first round, while No. 4 Salisbury will host No. 5 Mary Washington. All game times have yet to be announced. 

The CAC Championship game is slated for Saturday, Nov. 7 at the top remaining seed.
