2025 C2C Women's Soccer Awards, All-Conference Teams Revealed
The 2025 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Soccer awards have been announced. The following are this year's honorees, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Christopher Newport's Hanna Heaton captured Offensive Player of the Year acclaim for the second straight year. Heaton leads the Captains (12-1-3) offense with 18 points on seven goals and four assists including three game-winning goals.
Mary Washington's Natalie Anderson claimed Defensive Player of the Year honors. Anderson has started all 18 games and played 1,314 minutes for the Eagles on the backline. She has helped the Eagles to post 14 shutouts this season - their most since at least 2001 – and tied for second in Division III.
CNU's Addy Hennessy picked up Rookie of the Year honors. Hennessy has started all 16 games for the Captains with 1,393 minutes on the back line which has allowed a league-best five goals and ranks ninth nationally in goals-against average (.33).
UC Santa Cruz's Caitlin Walters, a psychology major, earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors. A center back and captain, she has played in nine games this season.
CNU's Jamie Gunderson was named Coaching Staff of the Year for the third straight year. In his fifth year guiding the Captains the team is 12-1-3 with 11 shutouts.
