Mary Washington, St. Mary's and Salisbury Secure CAC Women's Swimming Weekend Wins

Mary Washington, St. Mary's and Salisbury each opened up CAC women's swimming competition with conference win over the weekend.

On Friday, Mary Washington defeated York 211-53. Steph Hallock posted pair of individual wins and two relay victories to lead the Eagles to the convincing win. Hallock won the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and was a part of winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay squads. Hannah Hagy was also a part of those winning relays with Hallock, and also took first in the 100 backstroke. 

On Saturday, St. Mary's topped Marymount 142-64 and also took down Goucher 137-58 in non-conference action. The Seahawks swept all events against Marymount and failed to win just two against Goucher. Seniors Brooke Raab and Hannah Hafey along with freshmen Elizabeth Straathof each won three events.

In the closest meet of the weekend, Salisbury edged York 114.5-90.5. Salisbury claimed seven first-place finishes, led by Victoria Radcliffe's two individual (200 IM, 100 breast) and one relay (400 medley) win. Nicole Marders also grabbed three wins, individually in the 100 butterfly and was a part of the winning 400 medley and 400 freestyle relays. 

In non-conference action, Marymount defeated Goucher 137-63, while Frostburg State fell to Washington & Jefferson 167-82 and Alderson-Broaddus 152-95.
