Mary Washington's Stephanie Hallock and 200 Medley Relay Record Top-15 Finishes at NCAA Swimming Championships

Mary Washington senior Stephanie Hallock and the UMW 200 medley relay both broke CAC records and posted top-15 placings on day one of the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships on Wednesday in Greensboro, N.C. 

Hallock raced to 11th place in the 50 freestyle finals with a time of 23.45, setting a new CAC record. Her time breaks the previous record of 23.52 set by St. Mary's Brie McDowell in 2009. 

In Wednesday's final event, Hallock teamed with seniors Katie Fago and Hannah Hagy and junior Anna Corley in the 200 medley relay, finishing 13th in a CAC record time of 1:44.83. 

On the men's side, UMW junior Dallas Tarkenton placed 38th in the 200 IM with a time of 1:53.53.

Tarkenton and two UMW relays will be in action on Thursday.
