Salisbury’s McTaggart, Marco Claim C2C Women's Volleyball Weekly Awards
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the fifth week of the 2025 women's volleyball season. Salisbury's Kiley McTaggart took home C2C Offensive Player of the Week honors, while the Sea Gulls Prudence Marco was tabbed C2C Defensive Player of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kiley McTaggart, Salisbury
Salisbury junior Kiley McTaggart laid down 38 kills (3.17 K/S) at a .252 clip, as well as five service aces, as the Sea Gulls went 3-0 for the week. In Friday's five-set triumph at Dickinson, McTaggart posted the best all-around numbers of her career with 18 kills and 16 digs, including eight kills in the fifth set to account for over half of SU's points in the frame.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Prudence Marco, Salisbury
Salisbury sophomore Prudence Marco registered 43 digs (3.58 D/S) to help the Sea Gulls go 3-0 over the weekend. She chased down 22 digs in SU's five-set win at Dickinson on Friday. Marco also posted a .925 reception percentage.

OFFENSIVE: Fielding Croft, Christopher Newport; KJ Helinsky, Warren Wilson
DEFENSIVE: Maddie Hanes, Christopher Newport
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Christopher Newport's Fielding Croft started all three matches this week as she helped the Captains post a 2-1 record at home with wins over Haverford and Regent. She averaged 8.89 assists per set and finished with 80 total assists including her second 30-assist match in the last four outings. Croft had 32 assists in that match, coming against nationally-ranked Virginia Wesleyan, and added three digs and a block against the Marlins. She is the first freshman with multiple 30-assist matches since 2019 when Sammy Carroll was starting for the Captains… Warren Wilson's KJ Helinsky had 49 kills and hit .268 in a pair of games last week. She matched her career best with 32 kills in 3-1 loss to JWU Charlotte and recorded her 1,000-career kill… Christopher Newport's Maddie Hanes started all three matches this week as she helped lead the Captains to a 2-1 record with wins over Haverford and Regent. She collected 29 digs (3.22 per set) including 16 against nationally ranked Virginia Wesleyan. For the week, Hanes had 35 serve receptions and just one reception error for a .971 successful pass percentage. She also added two aces against Haverford and five assists during the week.
