Mary Washington 10th, Stevenson 16th At Dickinson Women's Cross Country Invitational
Mary Washington placed 10th in the combined overall team results while Stevenson finished 16th at the Dickinson Long/Short Women's Cross Country Invitational meet.
UMW's 281 team points after combining the results of the 6K and 4K races edged Waynesburg by three points for 10th place. Stevenson finished in 16th place in the combined team standings with 534 points.
In the 6K, Elizabeth Green was UMW's top finisher at 25:31, followed by Erin Dandridge at 26:05 and Tara Landy at 26:40. In the 4K, Dawn Rainbolt crossed the line at 17:04, followed by Michaela Sands at 17:21 and Ashley Hess at 17:38.
York placed a team only in the long-course race, placing 10th out of 21 teams.
Frostburg State's squad competed in the short-course race, placing 18th in the team standings out of 21 teams.
