Young and CNU's team performances highlighted the day, as Young became the first individual in CAC history to win a regional championship, while the Captains are the first team in school and league history to qualify for the NCAA team national championships.

Young raced to a time of 21:42.55 to claim top honors, defeating the next-closest finisher by nearly eight seconds, leading the Eagles to a fifth-place team finish. Lauren Braney also posted a top-10 finish for the Eagles, grabbing seventh at 22:39.89. Victoria Parent also earned All-Region honors for UMW, taking 26th at 23:36.21.

For CNU, a balanced team effort helped the Captains secure second place with 124 points, behind only Emory (62). After initially tying Centre (125) for second place with the posting of the unofficial results, a video review awarded the Captains an additional point and slid them into sole possession of second place.

Lydia Cromwell led a balanced CNU effort in 14th place at 23:05.90, followed by Hannah Bullen in 16th at 23:07.38. Emmie Schmitt (29th/23:30.91), Julie Machamer (32nd/23:33.83) and Logan Harrington (33rd/23:33.90) also secured All-Region accolades for the Captains.
