Mary Washington's Teagan Young Places 44th at NCAA Women's Cross Country Championships
Mary Washington sophomore Teagan Young highlighted the CAC's performance with a 44th-place finish at the NCAA Women's Cross Country National Championship on Saturday in Mason, Ohio.
Young crossed the finish line in 22:38.6 to finish first among CAC runners in the field of 275 competitors.
York senior Jess Miller concluded her career with a 112th-place finish in 23:19.4, while Mary Washington's Lauren Braney ran to 234th place at 24:21.3.
The Christopher Newport women's team placed 32nd in the team standings with 999 points. Julie Machamer led the Captains in 24:15.7.
