Salisbury sophomore Peter Moyer was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after recording four first-place finishes in a 1-1 week for the Sea Gulls. In a close 110-95 loss to Washington College, Moyer took first in the 200 freestyle (1:58.98) and 400 freestyle (4:16.13). In a victory over Penn State Altoona, Moyer touched first in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.28) and 800 freestyle (9:08.75).

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE
In the lone CAC action last week, St. Mary's defeated Frostburg State 166-96 ... York is 4-0 on the year and 2-0 in CAC play, while Mary Washington (4-1, 2-0 CAC) is also unbeaten in CAC action ... Frostburg State junior Christian March finished with three first-place races and two school records against St. Mary's. He took first in the 50-meter freestyle (23.99; school record), first in the 200-meter breaststroke (2:30.63; school record) and first in the 100-meter IM (1:03.02) ... Mary Washington's Garrett Ross finished first in the 50-yard freestyle as the Eagles split their dual dual meet with Johns Hopkins and Franklin & Marshall on Friday. He touched out at 22.27, edging three JHU swimmers ... St. Mary's Peter Orban led the Seahawks to a CAC win over Frostburg State with two individual and two relay wins. Individually, Orban won the 100 backstroke (1:02.43) and the 200 backstroke (2:18.96) ... York's Jesse Tate led the Spartans to their fourth win to open the season as the freshman picked up three individual wins in the victory over Washington & Jefferson. Tate began his day as a part of the winning 400 medley relay squad, swimming the third leg for a 3:42.27 finish. He also won the 100 butterfly (54.40), 100 freestyle (50.59), and the 50 butterfly (24.70). Tate leads the Spartans with seven individual wins in York's four meets this year.
