York Junior Darnell Tillman and Salisbury Sophomore Zack White Receive CAC Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week Honors
YORK, Pa. -- York junior Darnell Tillman and Salisbury sophomore Zack White were named the CAC Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week for Jan. 27, 2015.

York junior Darnell Tillman was named the CAC Track Athlete of the Week after setting a meet and school record in the 200-meter dash at the Collegeville Classic hosted by Ursinus on Friday. Tillman won the 200-meter dash with a meet and school record time of 22.75. His 200 time ranks first in the CAC and 25th in the nation. He was also a part of the 4x800 meter relay team that finished sixth with a time of 8:38.28. The Spartans finished fourth of 24 teams at the event.

Salisbury sophomore Zack White received CAC Field Athlete of the Week accolades after leading the Sea Gulls in the field events of the Collegeville Classic on Friday. White tallied a pair of second-place finishes, recording a 21'-10.75" jump in the long jump and a 43'-8.5" effort in the triple jump. He was the only Sea Gull to have two top-two finishes in the field events of the meet.

At the Collegeville Classic, Salisbury finished first, Mary Washington took third and York placed fourth in a field of 24 teams ... Chris Gardner had a hand in two wins as Frostburg State competed at the Marietta Alumni Open. He posted his first individual win of the year with a victory in the 200-meter dash in 23.19, and later helped teammates Sterlyn Elder, Thomas Moore, and Hossein Hakimi to a win in the 4x200-meter relay in 1:32.85, just 0.35 off an ECAC Championship qualifying mark ... Mary Washington sophomore Ben Sorensen finished first in the mile at the Ursinus Collegeville Classic on Friday, crossing with a time of 4:26 as the Eagles' lone first-place medalist on the day. Nick Judy finished second in the pole vault at 14'-10" ... Salisbury's Luke Campbell posted top finishes in the 400-meter dash (49.50) and the 60-meter hurdles (8.13) at the Collegeville Classic at Ursinus College on Friday ... Wesley's Matt Bundy bested all college athletes with a third-place finish in 60-meter hurdles in 8.22 at the Tiger Open hosted by Princeton. His time is the fifth fastest time in nation.
