YORK, Pa. -- Salisbury sophomore Victoria Radcliffe was named the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for Oct. 28, 2014.

Salisbury sophomore Victoria Radcliffe was named the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week after notching five first-place finishes in two meets last week. Against Catholic, Radcliffe claimed first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.20), 200 breaststroke (2:41.80) and 200 IM (2:20.84). Against Rowan, she won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:14.46 and contributed to the 400 freestyle relay that finished at 4:20.62.

Frostburg State, Mary Washington, Salisbury and York have each opened their 2014-15 seasons ... Frostburg State is 2-2 on the year with wins over Gallaudet and Stevenson. Freshman Macey Nitchie opened her collegiate career with four individual wins in two meets and another win as part of a relay team for the Bobcats ... Mary Washington is 1-2 on the season after topping Catholic and falling at Washington & Lee and Division I William and Mary ... York freshman Taylor Witte led the Spartans to a season-opening win at Elizabethtown on Saturday, winning her first collegiate race in the 50 freestyle at 27.48 and also leading a one-two-three Spartan finish in the 100 freestyle (59.39).
