Christopher Newport senior Matt DiSalvo was named the CAC Golfer of the Week for the second straight week after claiming third place individually and helping the Captains to the team crown at the Ted Keller Memorial. DiSalvo posted a two-day total of four-over 144 (70-74) to tie for third in a field of 90 competitors.

Christopher Newport holds the lowest team scoring average so far this fall, averaging 305.4 strokes per round through eight rounds, followed by York (311.3) and Penn State Harrisburg (313.4) ... All seven CAC golf squads were in action over the past week ... York won the Alvernia Fall Invitational for its first tournament championship of the year with a team score of 331, defeating Lebanon Valley by 11 strokes. Freshman Dan Doran led the Spartans in fifth with a six-over 78 ... Penn State Harrisburg took second at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Tournament hosted by Washington & Jefferson. Sophomore Keith Miller tied for second place individually with rounds of 77-78, while Tyler Shank took fifth for the Lions at 78-84 ... Marymount finished 10th at the Ted Keller Memorial, led by sophomore Erik Timlin in a tie for 11th place with a score of 150 (+10) over two days of competition, including a career-best two-over par 72 in the final round ... Wesley placed 15th at the Ted Keller Memorial and was led by Dylan Chessher and Matt Maskell, who tied for 36th with two-day totals of 157 ... New Jersey City freshman Bobby Williams carded a career-best round of 82 to help the Gothic Knights defeat Yeshiva 361-81 on Sunday. New Jersey City also competed at the Griffin Invitational hosted by Chestnut Hill, finishing 14th ... William Paterson finished eighth of 12 teams on Monday at the Muhlenberg Invitational. Senior James Nuzzo led WP with an 81 (+11, tied-21st).
