Christopher Newport Sophomore David Rabil and Wesley Senior Dylan Chessher Share CAC Golfer of the Week Honors
YORK, Pa. -- Christopher Newport sophomore David Rabil and Wesley senior Dylan Chessher each put together historical performance en route to securing CAC Co-Golfer of the Week honors for Oct. 18, 2016.

Christopher Newport sophomore David Rabil was named the CAC Co-Golfer of the Week after setting new CAC and school records for single-round scoring with an 7-under 64 at the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational. Rabil sandwiched his record-breaking round with a pair of 76's to finish tied for 10th in the 95-player field at 3-over par 216. He also competed at the Royal Lakes/Oglethorpe Fall Invitational, finishing tied for 40th with a +7, firing a 75-76 in the two-day event. Rabil's 7-under 64 breaks former teammate Matt DiSalvo's CAC single-round record of 6-under 64 for the lowest round in conference history.

Wesley senior Dylan Chessher was named the CAC Co-Golfer of the Week after recording the second-best two-round total in conference history with a 4-under par 140 at the Revolutionary College Classic hosted by Ursinus. Chessher carded a 69 (-3) on day one and it followed that up with a day two 71 (-1) to secure first place individually and help the Wolverines to a third-place team finish. Chessher's two-day total of 140 tied for the second-best two-day score in CAC history, matching York's Kevin Long (2012) and Wesley's Robert Ehrhardt (2013).

The fall 2016 golf season will wrap up this week with Wesley hosting its Andrew Geier Memorial and Christopher Newport, Mary Washington, and Marymount at the VSGA Intercollegiate Tournament ... New Jersey City, Penn State Harrisburg, and York have concluded their fall campaigns ... New Jersey City completed a perfect (5-0) fall dual match schedule with a 63-stroke, 328-391, victory over Bryn Athyn on Sunday at Galloping Hills Golf Course. Freshman Cameron Arnold claimed individual medalist honors for the fourth time this year as he shot a +10 round of 81 (41-40) to finish one shot better than his teammates, freshman Daniel Natoli and sophomore Alexander Sill, who each fired a +11 round of 82 ... Mary Washington, Marymount, Wesley, and York each competed at the Ted Keller Memorial Tournament on Oct. 10-11 in Ashland, Va. ... Marymount finished fifth at the Ted Keller Memorial, led by 10th-place finishes from Keegan Boone and Erik Timlin in a field of of 93 golfers. Boone carded a two-day total of 152 (75-77). In four rounds this fall, Boone boasts an average of 75 while placing in the top 10 in both tournaments ... York freshman Morgan Uhlick tied for 10th at the Ted Keller Memorial, helping the Spartans to a tie for ninth in the team standings ... Penn State Harrisburg finished fourth at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial hosted by Washington & Jefferson. Keith Miller finished fourth individually for the Lions at 159 (77-82).
