Salisbury Senior Nathan Blondino and York Junior Landry Marshall Selected as CAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- Salisbury senior Nathan Blondino and York junior Landry Marshall were selected as the CAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week for April 3, 2017.

Salisbury senior Nathan Blondino earned CAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades after exploding for 19 points off eight goals and 11 assists in a 2-0 week for the Sea Gulls. Blondino opened the week with a career-high 12-point game against Wesley, totaling five goals and seven assists. He followed that up with a three-goal, four-assist performance against St. Mary's. His eight goals came on just 13 shots (61.5% shooting) and he also chipped in five groundballs and three caused turnovers for the week.

York junior Landry Marshall was selected as CAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight time after allowing just seven goals in 100:55 minutes of action last week in a pair of Spartan victories. In wins over St. Mary's and Marymount, he combined for a 4.16 goals against average and a 68.2 save percentage with a total of 15 saves. Against St. Mary's, he allowed three goals while making seven saves in 53:45 of work between the pipes. He followed that up with eight saves and four goals against in 47:10 of game time in the win over Marymount.

Christopher Newport senior Randy Foster led the Captains with seven goals during the week, including six in a 14-9 victory at Mary Washington on Wednesday. His six goals equaled the second-highest single-game output in program history. He came back with two more points and a pair of caused turnovers in a 6-5 setback at Frostburg State on Saturday ...
