Christopher Newport Senior Lindsay Mondloch and Salisbury Senior Casey Arnone Named CAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- Christopher Newport senior Lindsay Mondloch and Salisbury senior Casey Arnone were named the CAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 5, 2015.

Christopher Newport senior Lindsay Mondloch was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after registering a goal and an assist in a 3-2 victory over Mary Washington on Saturday in CNU's only game of the week. Mondloch assisted on the first goal of the game and scored a crucial insurance goal that proved to be the gamewinner. Her goal came with less than five minutes to go, giving the Captains a 3-1 lead before the Eagles responded with a second goal. It was her first goal of the year and the assist was her team-leading fourth of the season.

Salisbury senior Casey Arnone was chosen as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Sea Gulls to a 4-0 shutout victory over Marymount last Tuesday. Arnone and the SU backline allowed just one shot on goal during the contest.

St. Mary's Gillian Sawyer continued her hot streak last week with two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a 4-0 shutout of Penn State Harrisburg. Sawyer leads the CAC with 13 goals and 29 points. Seahawk goalkeeper Katie Flores posted her first career solo shutout vs. Penn State Harrisburg ... Salisbury's Lindsey Andonian scored twice in the Sea Gulls 4-0 victory over Marymount, with both goals coming on breakaway attempts ... Wesley's Janiah Moore scored the first two goals and added an assist in the Wolverines' 6-1 win over Marymount on Saturday. Moore is second in the CAC with 10 goals this season.
