YORK, Pa. -- Salisbury junior Victoria Radcliffe was selected as the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for Nov. 24, 2015.

Salisbury junior Victoria Radcliffe was selected as the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week after breaking a nine-year-old school record and recording a pair of first-place finishes at the Swarthmore Invitational last weekend, helping the Sea Gulls take second in the six-team event. Radcliffe shattered the previous SU record by over eight seconds in the 400 IM with a time of 4:41.01 en route to first place, and also took first in the 500 freestyle at 5:20.57. Her 400 IM time ranks 20th in Division III.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Five CAC teams competed last week, including two at invitationals ... Frostburg State freshman Maddie Weinberger broke two school records at the Franklin & Marshall Invite ... She captured FSU records in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.08) and the 200 breaststroke (2:28.41) and made the the A final in both events ... Marymount went 1-1, opening with a 126-68 victory over Gallaudet on Friday. before falling 137-125 to Randolph-Macon on Saturday. Freshman Katharina David broke the MU school record in the 200 IM vs. Gallaudet, while Morgan Alston totaled four individual first-place finishes throughout the week ... St. Mary's posted a 2-0 record, edging McDaniel 52-43 on Friday before cruising to a 148-6 triumph over SUNY Delhi on Saturday. Zoe McIlmail picked up three gold medals in the come-from-behind triumph over McDaniel, and added another three gold medals in a dominant win over SUNY Delhi ... York suffered a 121-78 defeat at Dickinson on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Kacey Banks captured the team's lone individual victory on the day as she won the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:21.09.
